FRONT diff.

Front diff oil was the dirtiest of the 3. All the components look ok though.

I don't have another new set of outdrive cups, so I'll clean up the best 2 for the front.

That’s what I was talking about.. So at least you have extra’s to choose from for F & R then, yes?
Oh sorry, you're talking about the outdrive cups? Thought you ment the center gears. Yes I've replaced the centre and rear outdrives so yes they are spares. In the ultrasonic cleaner now.

The spiders look great to me. Same with the rings & pinions.. Don’t see anything in the photos to warrant any concern. And you’ve replaced the mildly worn out drives-so you’re in bidnezzzz..
Yes all the gears look great. All 3 diff would have run fine but it's the unknown. At least I know what I've got now. All fresh.
 
The old outdrives actually cleaned up well after a ultrasonic cleaner and a polish with 2000 wet/dry paper.

Those grooves are where you wanna keep the Bel Ray grease. It’ll squeeze down against the backside of the drive cup, and that’s fine/good. You just want to keep it on THIS side of your o-ring always. 🤘
 
Definitely a good idea to mark up diffs. 👍

This is especially true if you take spare diffs for quick swap outs between heats.

This is the knackered spur - pinion moved on the motor - then lost all drive, prematurely ending my round. Super annoying because I had been enjoying being in TQ position during the 1st round

150k centre Diff stripped during a 1/10 4WD Mod Buggy race during round 2. 1 of my spare diffs dropped straight in with 100k weight oil, which I was happy to drive with to compare. The job was completed at pace - with just 1 minute before the start of my next round. 😅

My marked up '300' diff spur has now been placed on my 150k diff while I wait for spares. This may take forever because it's TLR. 😝

Keeping stuff super clean = fast. Shame about the pit table! 😅

Rear gearbox assembled with new housing. Shimmed, greased and new input gear bearings. New pins in the driveshaft. New CV joint and T-works safety collar.

Feels very smooth.
