i dont know that traxxas makes a truggy.. the losi is the most popular one by far and i myself race a CEN.. i know it doesn't offer much help but a majority of ones in my area are losi..

saturday was the first time it has ever seen the track since i broke it in.. will clean it up for ya.. i took the pull start out and put a bump plate on and put traxxas 2055 servos in it

The first question is... Are you racing or bashing...
Traxxas dont make one, if you are bashing the Ofna Mutilator, (that is the one you meant) is awesome, if you are racing RC8T first, MBX5T second, Losi 8T third, unless you can afford the Hong Nor X2. Thats the one.....

i am not a serious racer . where bashing is concern i do a little.
any feed back on hot bodies lightning 2 pro rtr.
would like to finalise out of
ofna and hot bodies.

I have the Lightning 2 buggy and it is super tough. I also have a Ofna Jammin CRT X1 Truggy and it is damn near bullet proof too. Man I would say that is a very hard choice. Both are real good for a first basher truggy. I would say the HD will handle better but the Ofna will be faster. Ok, here is what comes down to....which is easier to get parts for? That should be the decision maker for you IMO.

I would say about 40% of the Truggy racers at my track (myself included) race the Xray XT8. 40% race the Losi 8T and the other 20% have other trucks. I saw two hot bodies in the B-main yesterday. Neither of them seemed to handle like the Xrays and Losis. Couple Cen Truggys that seem to do OK and One Ofna. I would say spend the extra money and get a good Truggy like the Losi or the Xray if you plan to race. It will be worth it in the end.

Hey just wondered if anyone here can tell me if the mantis is any good I am not sure if it is exactly a truggy but, was looking for some input I do bash but, plan on trying to get into racing as well any input would be great thanx.
