I have an EMAXX converted to mamba brushless. I'm running dual 2s lipos with a series connector so esentially I'm running 4s... the mamba instructions say to use the 2s cutoff setting only if using 2s batteries but wont that over drain them? what about the auto-lipo setting? wouldnt that be the correct one to use? the last time I bashed I had it set on 2s and my venom charger said I took too much voltage from them... I just dont want to ruin my batteries or blow the thing up.. any Ideas?

Voltage cutoff should be set for 4s or 3.0v per cell minimum. You're lucky you didn't blow up a lipo running them on a 2s cutoff. As you said when two 2s batteries are in series they should be treated as a 4s battery.

the auto-lipo stting detects the number of cells and adjusts it fro there so that would work right? or would it still think its 2s

Run it as 4s because thats what it is wired in series is a 4s pack. Your talking about a Mamba Monster right?

It should detect it, but it's better to set it manually at 3.2v per cell. Less chance of error. Say you put a 4s pack on with a cell that isn't working right, the ESC might think it's a 3s and thus allow the other three cells to run down to low.
