Violator Shock Oil

Does anyone know if the Violator Shock sets have any oil in them? What weight oil should one use in the shocks, 35wt all around good enough?

The weight of oil varies upon your application. If you're getting serious air and that's the vast majority of your driving then I'd opt for a lower weight like 20 - 30wt. If you are planning on driving on mostly flat and very little bumps then you might opt to go as high as 60 - 90 wt. If you're planning on a mix then I'd opt for something in between.

well the higher weight would be the best thing, except for one thing...if the oil is too thick it will blow out the end cap on the shock. unless you plan on welding the shock together i would go with el's idea of bigger air = less oil weight and vise versa.

They Come With Oil I pourd it out and put 35wt in myself.
