Hello i might buy my first vintage nitro and have chosen the most important pics. It seems the tires need to be changed, there is no servo and receiver and transmitter. This is all i can see, maybe someone else will see something that will need to be changed? Because this is all I've found. But does anyone actually recognize the engine or car? I don't know what model it is.

Looks like a Kyosho of some sort - can you upload pictures of the car from a top down perspective, and one of the underside? Would make it easy to reverse image search and get a match.

thanks

Thanks for adding them, sorry I'm still drawing a blank. It's could be early 90's or even late 80's, maybe Thunder Tiger if not Kyosho. Finding parts to run it would indeed be difficult.
I just bought it like 20min ago. From what i cna see, it will definetely be able to drive one day, since its got enough compression, every gear is fine and nothing is broken. It is pretty cute imo, probably because its my first small block rc😂 ill just need to put in the electronics and change the tires

Thanks👍 the original engine from the picture started leaking from the bearings, so I put in a CEN nt.16. Well recently it seems like I've repaired the original engine but the amount of work I've put into getting the nt16 to fit kinda holds me back😂

So the car and engine seem in very good condition now. I was actually planning to run it today. Here are some pics of how it looks like
