This Force .12 engine came in a GV Silver Snake it was covered in old castor oil from probably 20 years and i disassembled it but i'm unsure if i should attempt to remove the piston/liner & crank to clean it and check the bearings or just leave it...what do you all reckon?

I would to check the bearings. Heat the block to free it and add some oil so you don't pull it dry.
Thanks man i'll give it ago, i did take a look on YT to get a idea of how to remove it i'll probably replace the crank bearings with some new ones.
