Does anybody know what the standard needle settings are for this buggy, can't seem to find them anywere on the net and having alot of problems tuning .

Google shows nothing, it just brings back to thus thread.
Looks like you might be calling them.

I'm guessing this is your buggy

http://www.ujtoys.com/VHXK-Nitro-Buggy-RC-Car-p/vh-xk.htm

could you let me know what carb the engine has ( slide or rotary ) so i can find give you rhw correct tune,

off the top of my head
if its a slide carb i would try
high speed needle 3/3.5 turns from fully closed
low speed needle ether 2/2.5 turns from fully closed or flush with its housing
1mm idle gap ( adjust as necessary )

if its a rotary carb try
high speed needle 3/3.5 turns from fully closed or flush with housing
low speed needle flush with the housing or 1/1.5 turns out from flush
1mm idle gap ( adjust as necessary )

these are taken from my kyosho .18GXR manuel for the slide carb
and from my thunder tiger .18BXP for the rotary carb

i can't find a manuel for your buggy but if you have one even your quick start manuel should have some engine settings

once you post your carb type i should be able to give you a more accurate tune
