Is the venom Smart Temp Fail Safe Unit worth buying ? I'm considering buying one. Any info would be great.

I have never used the Smart Temp but have a regular Venom fail safe and it does it's job.
I do not like the smart temp unit. It was constantly causing problems on my friend's Warhead(I sold it to him). The engine was tuned/running fine but the temp reading was false and kept shutting it down.

I have one but don't use the temp portion. Like Randy said it was never spot on like my temp guns. The failsafe was GTG though.
