Vans or Etnies?

I would get which ever will last you the longest and wont fall apart where the board hits. I went through my last pair of DC's in like a month lol. good lol.

Way way waaaayyyy back in the day I rode a skateboard. I also had the skull vans and a few pairs of Vision. My mom said and I quote " I'm not buying a new pair of shoes every month for you to tear them up" So I would cut up an old bicycle tube and glue it to the outer toe on my shoes so they wouldn't bust so fast LOL

Now my work shoes are Rockport, and I wear sandals as much as possible.

umm i had both but ur going to be skating with them and u want good durable shoe go for globe shoes.i had a pair for 3 months without anything happining to them.adio is more of a trendy shoe now.but if it was vans or etnies.i go for the vans.

I still have a set of Chucks. Blue ones. I only wear them though when I ride my lowrider bike. My chucks, my dickies and a dickies work shirt. Just seems fit..

4u, are the soap shoes run smaller sizes cause i can only find a size 8 for the biggest, and i need a 14.

Mine are 11's. (I usually wear around a 10-10.5) I'm not sure if you have a store called "Pacific sunwear" but thats where I got mine from. I can see if they come in 14's next time I go in there. 14's though.. wow.. How tall are ya?

I remember there was a brand of shoes that everyone had to have, but I can't remember the name. Typically, they were all-white sneakers, but they had a sun-like logo on the back heel. Can't remember the name of that show, but I know everyone around where I lived felt they had to have a pair!

Vans = good grip, fast wear....
Etnies = long lasting sole but the grip and board feel suck...I get to skate the mini tonight....OH GOODY....Spit if you're ever in Ft. Lauderdale drop me a line...I'll get you in the newest skatepark in th earea after hours so there isn't 100 grommets taking lines all over

BTW, Etnies hasn't made a good shoe since the original Muska's...w/ the secret pocket for....ummm soare bearings yeah....bearings...

Both Vans and Etnies have been around since the mid 80's.

Mid '80's!!! Try mid '70's! I was wearing tutone Van loafers and lace ups back when it was called "DogTown", where I was living a the time. If you know what that is, you are a true skater! Go Tony Alva!

I had Vans and wore them until they literally feel off my feet in pieces. I also like the Etnies though never owned a pair. I have always like DC shoes too.
