long time no post.ok so I took apart a vacum and I got it's motor.it is the same size as my efirestorm(stock)motor. Now I've never done this would it be faster and is it bad to hook a foriegn piece up to my rig. As I am curently looking for batterys(nmhi or what ever u call it). And a charger. Pls help me out guys.ty
 
I guess you're talking about a motor from a car vac that plugs into your lighter. Not good, since it's 12 volts and it's made for high RPM rather than torque. I used the same type of vacuum motor in a boat some years ago, but it was twice the size of a 540, and I had to gear the prop down to a 9:1 ratio. I also had two 6 volt batteries on board. Easy to do in a boat, not workable in a car.
 
no i mean a floor vacuum.
 
That would be a 110v motor, so you would need like a 31s lipo to power it. lol
