Has anybody ever made a v8 nitro or even a gas motor? I have ben thinking about it and would like to build one.. what do you guys think?

SO................... what do you do to have the skills to do this? Not talking crap, just wondering. If you can't tune or trouble shoot an already made motor, how do you plan on building one?

I don't but my dad owns a machine shop and my father in law works at one.. and I know they are complicated and I'm just an olé back woods redneck but I'd like to build one of some sort

I can tune them and trouble shoot them just fine.. but when your getting fuel and air and fire it all works good.. I can work on a full size vehicle no problem Cuz that's what I do on the side it's just I was new to nitro and the carb had me tripped up Cuz some people have said there is only one needle to tune it when I'm sitting there looking at three

Well I've never seen plans on one that had ben made so it would help

I like that one and the stinger 609 but I don't know how to start like how big or far apart the oiling wholes short be or anything like that

Here's a very simple step by step demonstration of what you need to do:

At any time during the video, if you get behind, you can pause it for a year or two.

Actually, it's a V12, but who's counting? V6, V8, V10 or V12. They're all built the same. The only difference between the V12 and the V8 you're building is about 2 hours of extra buffing.:D

Show us some pics and keep us posted.

Here you go. Conley makes a 1/4 scale gas supercharged V-8:

He hasn't been here since his last post of August 11. Apparently he's milling con rods and doesn't have time to stop in.
Actually, I think he's measuring these.....
