I just got this setup board.

When mounting the gauges are you supposed to remove the wheel hexes? My guess is no.

When I put the gauges on the axles (on top of the hexes) there is some play in the gauges. I can move them around a bit left/right and up/down on the axle. This can cause inaccurate readings. How do people handle this?

[edit]

The problem is the wheel nuts that came with the kit. They are standard threaded for NTC3 axles and they do not thread all the way up my axles. I need the optional 4mm axle nuts. In the meantime I put washers in between the wheel hexes and the gauges to take up the slack.

I checked the settings I made with my dirt cheap RPM gauges and I found them to be nearly perfect.

That's odd, Ross, I have the exact same set up station and for my TC4 I had to buy the optional studs to make it work. The ones that came with the set did not thread onto the TC4.

Either way, it works easy and simple. Let us know if you find anything else goofy about it.

The axle nuts that came with the station were standard threads and the documentation that was in the case says the TC3 uses standard threads. They will not thread onto my axles.

I ordered the 4mm metric Integy axle nuts today from a LHS. I also went to a local hardware store and picked up four small 4mm nuts today and they thread onto the axle properly and hold everything tight. I will use the 4 small nuts until I get the proper Integy axle nuts.

Too funny. And mine came with the metric threads and I had to buy the optional standard threaded ones. Wonder if they sell two versions of the kit.

I use the regular nuts that on my car now. I have the integy set up but the newer version i suppose.

I was using it on Sunday at an outdoor event. It was windy and the wind was blowing the pendulums all around. It was almost impossible to measure camber in the wind so I used my RPM gauge instead. I would call that a goof.
