hey guys,

i'm thinking about converting my hyper 7 to a truggy. funds are low this time of year so i figure its best to work with what i have rather than spend more money. anyway, will the mugen MSR center diff riser/spacer work on the hyper center diff? also what about the servo spacers in the msr kit? if anyone knows or can just get an eyeball measure i'd be really thankful.

best bet is to use a friends set up if you can and see....I've tried using measuremnts on mod stuff befoer and got screwed...there is always some funky dimension you didn't check...like the tower holes may line up, but the height might be a lil off, looks like it works...but when the chassis flexes the drive shaftr pops

thansk plaid...i'll see if i can find me one at the track...might have to wait till next spring...damn F'in snow here in NJ

no they dont work. however i spaced mine with $8 in parts from lowes hardware. you need 1/4 inch spacers. take on of the mounts with you. i got metal tube spacers, and because the hole in the center of them was so big, i got pastic spacers of the same width that fit inside them and centered them on the mounting bolts. i put 1 under each leg of the diff mount. when done it required a little dremel work to add clearance for the spur gear to rotate, but that was it. very easy and cheap to do.
