I've got a 1500mAh 2 cell LiPo rx battery that came in a lot of stuff I purchased and I'm wanting to use it in my new SC8. I know that since it's 7.4V I need a regulator to cut voltage back to 6v but how many amps? I'm seeing 3,5 & 7A regulators. Anything else I need to know or have to use this battery?

Thanks
Randy

Get the 6.5V 5 amp regulator.
Very reliable and gives a bit more punch to the electronics. I've seen firsthand how good they work and how reliable they are. Just make sure it has adequate airflow. If you have any worries, think about how much Voltage a NiMh pack peaks at. Mine peak over 8 volts and after 1 hour of use they still have 7 volts by my charger readout.

I have seen the same one in action and it really gave the servos some punch. That big 333 oz servo acted like it was on steroids.
