RC Driving Style
Just passed the 500 post mark :woot: and was wondering how to change my user title. i looked at the rules forum and it says use your profile to change it but i dont see where to do that. can anyone help??

Go to User CP, then over on the left you should see "Edit Profile". In Edit Profile it's the second box down in the middle. It should have text in it like this:

Custom User Title
This is the title that appears beneath your name on your posts. Check the 'Reset' box if you wish to use the the default title for your usergroup and post count.
Your current user title is:
 
I don't think you have to have 500 posts to change your user title. I think I stand at <400 and you can see that mine isn't an RCNT issued title... although I'm sure the mods might like to use it on some people :) ... I know I do...
 
I'm not seeing it. in the middle boxes it goes Birth Date, Home Page URL, then Instant Messaging. am i in the right place??

I get the same thing as SaVaGeR21. The second box down says Birth Date, Home Page URL, and Instant Messaging. What gives? (BTW, I have over 500 posts)

Above Birth date there should be a box saying Custom tittle. If u don't have that option, then I suggest u PM Woodie.
 
No. Only have 500 posts or more and u can change ur tittle. 1000 posts for the Avatar.
 
For some reason it appeared right where you siad. I don't know why it wasn't there before...
 
AC48 - The reason you did not have the option to change your usertitle right away is because the forum automatically moves you to an additional usergroup which has the permission to have custom user titles. The problem is the forum is set to change all users who qualify to for the new user group once an hour. Thus the reason you didn't see it right away.

Lessen - You have the option because your a contributor. Regardless of post count you can create custom user titles.

Go to the top tool bar and click on "contribute" and it will tell you how.
 
Which pic is the Avatar? I see the square one under the user title, and the long one at the bottom of the post. Which one do you get at 1000, and what's needed for the other?
 
The avatar is the one just below your user name. The long square one some people have is in their signature. You don't need a certain amount of posts to use a pic in your signature. You do have to have 1000 posts to have a custom avatar. If you want to use a pic in your sig, you have to create the pic and then have somewhere to host it. Then you can just imbed the URL into your sig. It's just like posting a pic in a thread.
 
The pic under the name or "Avatar" u need a 1000 posts. The sig u have once u register.
