from my experience of building my rig all the way from shocks to tranny all upgrades on my stock 2.5 then to a 3.3 to my built rig now, the bulks go straight to alloy or better and your a arms with some plastic RPM arms whicc will take some up grade parts to 3.3 stock parts at least. OH and the plastic stock BULKS suck!!!

For performance, drop a 3.3 in there. For handling, aluminum shocks such as the trx big bores and progressive springs will help a lot. If your 2.5 doesn't have them the longer 3.3 a arms, axles, axle carriers, and 1/2" offset rims will widen the stance and make the truck handle better on the turns and jumps. A wing will help protect the head and actually helps truck stability in flight during those big jumps. If you have the ezstart ditch it for a pullstart and glowplug igniter. It will save weight and help accelleration and handling.
