is the norm $150+ each time you go into the LHM?

Upgrades are fun... this weekend it was the new servo, motor savers air filter which is highly recomended, new body, new fuel line, upgraded or harden drive lines, I think the next thing will be upgraded brake, still contemplating picco 26 or p3... not sure yet.
and 1 gallon of Trinity 20%

At some point new shocks, been developing pin holes in these and fixing them with super glue...

It has been for me. Normally around $100. Unless it's new engine day, then it's around $200.

I get the "Oohh, I NEED" problem when I got the the LHS. Same problem when I login into tower. Like today for instance, I log into tower to buy 1, 1 mind you, $2 bearing. Next thing you know I have a $80 tab. And guess what I forgot to put on the list... yep, the one bearing I actually need.

Fortunatly I had left my wallet in my car, so I was able to back out of that one gracefully.

That is a light trip for me...I have to almost always carry cash into the store in order to limit my spending. If I bring the check card, I'm usually averaging about $300-400 a trip. So, my trips are not as frequent anymore. Of course neither is my requirement. After a while of spending on upgrades, the truck doesn't break as often and the need for spare parts drops down.

last summer it was a bi weekly trip to the LHS and an average of about $175 each trip. As Sky had said tho.... other than a few bling blink fironi parts I still want, my rides are pretty stable now and dont require the upkeep they orignally did. Now with the new Savage I'm sure the trips will become more frequent again.

God this hobby is a money pit.!!! HEEHEE

In the end it's worth it... At least I purchased a Savage, My neighbor has a Mammoth and his son a T-max. They think I'm nuts but the garage looks like a hobby shop. I have bought every cheep replacment part I can find on ebay. a-arms so on.

During heavy bashing in the desert I am the only one who comes out un damaged. The Mammoth really seems to break easy, He has installed a roll cage and it's cut down the amount of shock towers and shocks that tend to get damaged, However the roll cage attaches to the bulk heads.
