Does that steering mod only work with certain wheels like stock or 40 series? It doesn't work with maxx standard sized wheels... it allows the rim to rub the arm quite a bit. I have nice grooves worn into my RPM arms now after I did that.

Huh, good question, Olds. I can see how it would do that, though. I ran some 40 series, but mostly I ran Maxx sized tires on Wabash rims and never had them rub. Did yours happen with stock Traxxas Maxx sized rims or any Maxx sized rims?

Look at the oz. If its higher then 150oz. your set. I run a 965mg and it can't be much less then that.

i'll check that out , its on ebay so it doesn't give much description, i will ask him that for sure, thanks man

It took me awhile, but I found it. I wonder if it's a discontinued item from hitec... I couldn't find it on their site or on tower. All I could find on tower was the gear set and servo case halves.

This info is from here http://www.imagesco.com/catalog/motors/HS-945MG.html:
Assumed Volt rating: 4/6
Operating Speed: 0.16 /0.12 sec.
Output Torque: 122 / 153 oz. 8.8 / 11 kg.
Size: 1.6"x 0.8"x 1.5" 39 x 20 x38 mm
Weight: 2.0 oz 56 g.

It's a little bit weaker than the 985MG, but about the same speed. The 985 is rated at 172oz @ 6V.

Now i have a question on this topic, will a single large digital servo draw as much power as a pair of stock servos?
