i got the same problem, i just got my 1st credit card and the first thing i bought was a savage25, this is my first nitro kit and it basically maxed my card out. i havent even got a chance to drive it yet since its too cold over here in chicago. and I'm already eyeing up a buggy.

Hey AL the diff mod is also recommended for better cornering not just to be able to handle the power of the 26. Even with the stock no power 21 I found my diff cases stripped as well. Did the diff mod and am glad I did. Thing handles like a champ now. It of course also creates a limited slip diff sort of a situation.

ok I'm pissed........well i did the regular re-do RTR lock tight screw deal before i started it, sealed the back plate, and all the usual before break-in procedures. everything was going fine untill the 5th step of my "bess" heat cycle method, the engine was loosening up and the truck was showing some grunt, when the truck did a front flip while goin down the street. at first i thought my failsafe had kicked in due to inteference, but upon inspection i found

my drivetrain was locked up!

i can get the diffs to spin, so its inside the tranny. I'm in the process of taking the tranny out and inspecting it right now. i never thought i would havto check INSIDE the tranny for loose/mis-assembled parts from the factory? i guess i shouldnt have been lazy and did a FULL tear down right when i took it out of the box. hmm.....typing this post kinda settle me down as i jsut forgot i like to wrench anyway...heh...well ill post later when i find the problem.

found the problem..the c-clip that holds the top gear shaft toghether, the shaft that has the 2 small gears on it, had broken in two (how? i dont know, maybe the installer pushed it on wrong and spread it part to much??) and the unit came apart and the drive pin was jammed all up in the mess. i can't see any visable damage other than a scrape on the gear..shouldnt be a problem. anyway all i need now is a new c-clip and thats it hopefully. wow thats a nice first impression experience......

lolz i got the tranny out and dissasembled so fast it put my second post in the same one i jsut posted before it.

hahaha I'm guessing your talking about were I'm using my money. i got a friend that has nitro addiction i can move in with it it comes to that lolz

Depends on where you live, I am a residential property manager in Oregon and it can sometimes take up to a month depending what court system you are in and how it all works. Yeah I had to get me some roomates to be able to afford all of this. Later
