speed control, motor and receiver on the way as of today. will keep this post updated as i hear/receive from them.

Ok, So i just got off the phone with HPI. I shipped the motor, esc and receiver out on the 29th of last month. He told me they got it on the 5th. He said it was taken care of which to me means they are shipping new ones. I said it hasnt shipped yet? He said no, shipping has been slow so I said ok, how is it coming back? He said Fedex 2 day to make up for the time.

Its a little slow to me if they got it last thursday and they havent shipped anything back but if i get a new ESC, receiver and motor I can't complain too much.

We will see how the new one does in a few days i guess

Glad to hear they took care of you. Without question, HPI and Traxxas have never let me down with any kind of issue on a fairly new rig. That's why that's pretty much all I own these days.

That's pretty upstanding for them to ship 2nd day delivery.

Yeah but when you think about the fact that they got it a week ago and it hasnt been shipped back yet... I'm not complaining though. Seems pretty cut and dry. 2 month old truck, esc goes up in flames, send a new one out quick. I saved the truck, i could have let it burn down, wouldnt be hard once the lipos got going.

As i said, not complaining just my opinion :)

New receiver, esc and motor showed up today. +1 for HPI :first_place:...i sent the receiver back from a suggestion by one of you guys. very glad i did because according to the paperwork, it wasn't working.
