Hey

I was wondering if Unlimited Engineering had good products. I have read a Couple of post about there shocks but i was also wondering about there rims and if they were good products.

If they are not good shocks i was wondering what you guys would recommend for shocks that are made for bashing really hard. Also if the rims suck :devious: I need rims that won't break if i land on them hard and these looked pretty good.

Thanks,
Cody

UE makes some of the best aftermarket goodies for the Tmaxx... There shocks have always gotten great reviews... As far as the wheels, I would'nt get Al. rims for bashing. Just my opinion though... I'm sure there very good quality & all, but Al. bends, period....

Definitaly look into the RPM rims. You can get them in an offset wheel and the designs are good. They also have the warranty just like all of their other parts. I run Integy msr5 shocks, havent gotten to run em yet cause i gotta break in the new engine, but they are smooth.

UE and dace products are incredible and very good, a little pricey but you get what you pay for. I have their supermaxx arms and shocktowers and all you can say is wow and what nice mod they make for your maxx

Ok the UE shocks are very good for bashers. I never get any aluminum rims as those I think are primarily Bling Bling. I am a basher so I like to have strong but not so flashy things. I am thinking of getting some of their stuff for the Savage. Do a search and you will find that many of the members here use those shocks for their MT's.

Good Luck

Jon

Oh Yeah, a rim choice I would look into getting some Dish Rims from Pro Line. I know that my first set of stock rims took a beating. The only reason I got a new set is because I accidentally stripped the inner hub on the rim.

Maximizer BeadLocks are going to be my choice of rim next go round. No glueing. Simple and fast.

Happy Hunting!

Jon

I just picked up some shock stand-offs and 4 shoe clutch with alum shoes from UE for my Savage. High quality stuff with super fast shipping. I highly recommend them.

Great Stuff good prices for the most part....the Shocks are OFNA pro 1/8 scale shocks though...look for em on E-Bay and you will be able to save a bout 30-40 bucks for a set of 8.....I personally like the Kyosho shocks better...I haven't had a set die on me like the OFNA ones, but the Kyosho ones are more money and aren't threaded bodies so you have to use clips...not good for bashing I suppose....

I agree with everyone here. Go for some 1/8th buggy shocks.
and I wouldnt go with Alum rims for a basher. You bend one and there goes $200 for JUST RIMS.

Yeah, alum rims look awesome, but if ur a basher their not that practical. I went with offset rpm titans my self. I love them. They look great, plus you can't beat RPM's warranty, but thats just my 2 cents.
