Ok I know before ya'll tell me I need pics of a car I'm not asking what kind it is...Yet.... however I am wondering if there are any markings or anything that sets certain on-road nitro cars apart. I am at work now so getting pics up isn't easy but I found a chassis in a box of stuff givin to me. It has no motor and is very dirty so tonight I will be tearing it apart and posting pics to get help but as I get ready to strip it I was didn't know if there is anything I should look for? I do know it's belt driven but from everything I have read thats pretty common.

There probably wont be any markings anywhere on chassis. The only thing you may find markings on is the engine block if stock and the servos and receiver (if stock) will tell the brand or maker of said parts. Kyosho hpi traxxas so on and so fourth. If kyosho servos are on it that may help narrow the model down when you have pics.

Engine was never in it but I am pretty sure the servos are so when I get home I will be taking pics and posting. however probably will be hard to see around all the dirt and grime. But hey that gives me a chance to give it a spit shine. Slow day at work equals to much time to think about projects.

Anybody have any ideas. I tore apart and cleaned to whole car. Servos had all stickers worn off. trying to figure out what engine to put in it. I will make for a nice winter project if nothing else just wondering what I have on my hands.

Yeah I had a Mugen a long time ago it was a good car. They are on the higher end of the RC spectrum. I am a jet engine mechanic by trade but really have not got to do much of it for years. I am AF so we go by AFSC.... which is MOS not sure why they have to be different than every other service with it, but what ever right?
