i just got a new ste of tires for my rs4 hpi and i need to know how to get them off i got the actual tire off but theres a little bit of rubber that tore off and is now stuck tight if any body could help that would be great thanx

Oven is best. I'm gonna go find the tutorial on how to do it.

Found it. Bake it for at 350F for 15 min. then the glue will get gooey. Then you can peel them off.

You could use an exato knife to get any little extra bits an pieces off, but some times its just easier to buy new wheels to go with the new tires, and don't forget to use a hot pad when you pull your tires out of the oven...

ok thanx

Or, you could spend like another $10-$15 dollars to pick up new rims and save yourself a lot of headaches. Literally, the smell the hot tires leaves will give u a killer one, and it sticks around for days.

i think il pick up some new ones then. oh and how dose the rimes not melt under that kind of heat?

Tire glue is actually super glue. The active ingrediant is cyanoacrylate. The same in super glue. Not sure if it will discolor your rims or damage the tires but paint thinner or nailpolish remover will take care of the glue. Again, I an NOT sure if it will damage your rims or tires. Just so we're clear.
