Good afternoon to all-
Well, Fellers, I took myself and my little Eflite UMX Waco biplane down to the flying field early this morning before the sun came up and started cooking things. Fellers, it has been hotter than the hinges of hell down here of the Gulf Coast- and lots of rain to boost the humidity level...
Anyway, I sent the little biplane up- I am coming to enjoy this plane more and more- and flew some pretty complicated aerobatic stuff, and then the problem arose.
Gnats by the hundreds descended upon me. Down here we call them "no-see-ums" because they are tiny, but they bite and they try to crawl in your nose and eyes and anywhere else you don't want them to be.
I flew the little red and white biplane for a while, but I had to admit defeat. I brought the plane in, down wind, base, and then final and Fellers, if I'm lyin', I'm dyin' I made a perfect landing and taxi up to my feet.
I grabbed the little plane and sprinted to the truck where I could escape the biting bugs.

Flying was good, but enduring the bugs was not.

you all be safe and keep well- Ed

Ed. Grab yourself on of these. make sure you get one with dark netting, easier to see through.
