My dad is going to order the material to make the stuff. It's gonna be great. I'm gonna make a pattern plane and maybe a funfly

The planes only cost like 10 bucks to make and you can have full 4channel control with gas engine.

I went to a meet at my field and saw one for the first time so i'm inspired now. I might make a DIY for how I made it.

Reminds me of the pizza box flyers. Cool part is, if you crash them and completely destroy them, the most you have lost is about 20$ and your time. Most electrics will survive. Now if you add a nitro mill then you could loose some serious cash.

Like Eddy said, keep use posted and show off those pics!

They're supposed to be indestructable so crashing really isn't a problem.

Also, I don't know if they weigh a lot but they don't look like they do so they're probably capable of hovering....always a plus.

Usually the engine can survive the crash, unless you go on a full throttle dive into cement. Personally, i've never seen an engine get destroyed from a crash...it's always just the plane itself.

Anyhow, we're gonna get the material on Friday so i'll start making it over the weekend. It'll probably take me a couple weeks just cuz I get ADD. But i'll be sure to take some detailed pictures.

I already got a design in my head for the pattern plane. I thought about the pattern plane, the one problem i'll have is that it will probably be too light so it'll get blown around in the wind a lot.
