just curious to know what the normal settings are for this mill ,
it is past break-in buy about 4 tanks on rebuild ,but it is running good but it seems as thoe it is running hot ,bogging and stuff like that ,i have it set at 2 1/2 to 3 turns out on HSN and in about 3/4 in on the LSN,
sound right??
or should it be around breakin tuning just a little in with the hsn..
this is a need ot know thing because i do not want to toast this mill,
thanx
rick

depends on what fuel you're running but that seems pretty lean, especially the low needle. also depends on what you're driving it on, long grass bogs the tyres down on the maxx and makes the engine run hard. best way to tell is to pinch the fuel line when it's been running at high speed and see how long it takes to cut out, if it dies in 3 to 4 seconds then it's way too lean, 8 to 10 being too rich or happy, inbetween is best, somewhere like 6 to 7 seconds.

i was testing it out on more or less blacktop and alittle grass ,but not hard i have about 2 tanks thru it since i got it,,
i will set the hsn at 3 1/2 or 3 3/4 for startup and tune from there and move the lsn closer to flush,

btw: i am running S&W 20% W/18% oil

That is most likely best.
just remember it is good to set all needles at factory settings then adjust only one needle at a time first hsn,lsn then idle
