Hi

what provides the back pressure in a two stroke engine? The header or the pipe?

If I used a large diameter header, would the increased flow/reduction in back pressure be detrimental to the performance of the engine? Or is the exhaust restriction/back pressure provided by the pipe?

The stinger provides the restriction for proper back-pressure, given it's sized correctly.
