Hi everyone,
I have had my Kyosho Inferno MP7.5 Sports for a couple of months now. I can start it ok but after some driving around at any speed, about 5 mins, every time I break or let the engine idle, the revs drop massively. From there it will either stall or the revs will soon go back to the idle speed. The idle speed itself changes every time I let it idle (it tries to go higher and lower all the time).
I have tried different tuning setting but nothing fixes these problems. Can anyone help please??

I have taken the engine apart and I have 2 clutch shoes. One of their springs had snapped so it was loose. Also the clutch bell is worn down so I need to replace that. Could this be why I have been having these problems??

Well, you found clutch problems but your original symptoms still add up to an air leak.
While sitting still, the clutch would not affect the up and down of the idle RPM.

While I agree with Rolex for the most part I would say that there is a possibility a dragging clutch shoe would alter your idle enough to make it sound as if it is always different or changing. If you are comfortable sealing an engine I would go ahead, but if you feel skeptical about it I would just replace the clutchbell and clutch and see if that resolves the issues you are having.

i have replaced the clutch bell and clutch shoes. i have also replaced the pull start. it is difficult to start from cold. but when i get it going, up to 1/4 acceleration, the car doesn't mind it, but if i have any more than that, and then release the throttle completely, the engine revs drop and then the car stalls. afterwards it is very hard to start :\

P.S I'm not sure but i think a problem might be my glow plug. my bro told me that it could be a vareable one, or could the glow plug actually need replacing???
