That was rc_mall, just so you know who to trust.

just to back this up a little, me and rolex and BOUTCH have the same aluminum arms on our truck. i dont know about boutch but me and rolex bought ours from RC mall. i placed about a $200 order. when it got here all of the knuckles were silver and everything else was purple. i emailed him and he sent out replacements within 12 hours of arrival of the wrong ones. this is a +1000 seller.

just had to add that

I'll be sending them back for a refund, then doing the deal directly with Fast Lane Machine.
Incidentally, the Email he responded to was the one with the link to this thread. I just wanted him to see for himself how much impact ONE bad deal might have on his business.

LMAO....no, but it's sitting on that shelf looking less than pretty since it's in pieces.

I think he probably hit the delete button on the emails before taking that screen grab he sent ya, Rolex.

And you haven't made a separate shelf for each part?! SLACKER!

I wish I would have seen this thread before I placed my order for fastlane parts through adicted2rc.

Honestly from what I have read they both did a crappy job at customer service but I would put more of the blame on FLM. Before I ordered my parts I did read on A2RC's site that all warranty issues will go directly through FLM.....They should have taken care of this asap. If FLM had good customer service they would have returned your call sooner.

It wasn't really a warranty issue, it was Addicted2RC's error by sending me the wrong parts, and then blaming it on a machine shop error.
Fast Lane is first rate, with first rate parts. It's Addicted2RC that you avoid in the future. He's only one of MANY dealers for Fast Lane.

My mistake, I thought the package was labeled wrong. It's too late for me now the order has been made. The bad thing is that I only found 3 placed that carry the FLM parts I wanted and I don't trust the other two either.

Normally, I always get what I order. When that rare mistake is made, that's when you find out how much they actually care about their paying customers.
Ask ANYONE who has had a problem with Integy parts. That's why they are constantly trashed on the forum.
I go out of my way to buy from anyone who has gone out of THEIR way to take care of me if there's a problem.
On the flip side, I'll never buy from Addicted2RC again, even if he's the only supplier on the planet that carries a part I want.

I totally agree. I come from a family full of business men and women, and they have worked their entire lives to instill the values of good customer service in their employees and their families. I often pay a little more to buy something that is a quality part from a company who acts like they care about having me as a customer. So far, Team Fast Eddy, Maxamps.com, and East End Machining have offered the best customer service in the industry, and this is in dealing with them, not just clicking "checkout" and getting the items. I judge the service by what happens when I need a part that's out of stock everywhere else, or what happens when the part arrives damaged, or when I need a part in three days for a big comp (East End and Maxamps both pulled that off this past week.) I've had to deal with integy customer service, and never have I been told so blatantly that a company cares nothing about me or the money that I spend with them. And to this day, I haven't bought an integy part, and I most likely never will. I don't even buy rigs anymore if they have integy parts. When companies treat me good, I'll go to bat for them everytime. When they treat me bad, I wouldn't piss in their concession stand if it was on fire.

i'd just like to add to this forum that no one has treated me as good as chris from http://www.extremenitrohobbies.com.au

it's an australian but the service is 2nd to none, great prices, official parts, and no email of mine has EVER (and i'm talking 20+ emails) not been replied to within 3 hours of me sending it, even after hours!

I've seen countless threads of ill-fitting FLM parts on Savage-Central. For a while Gary at addicted2rc was held in high regards on that forum, wonder what happened. Guess he is getting swamped with FLM's crap. It will wear anybody down having to deal with that many bad parts. None-the-less, he should have made right with you.
Anyone considering an aftermarket Savage chassis needs to look at Innovative RC. Best design, quality materials and good customer service. I ordered a set a while back and loved them. When i recieved my chassis set it was sent with a the wrong center skidplate, one photo in an email was all it took to get the right skidplate to my door in 9 days from the UK. He even let me keep the wrong skid with no extra charges what so ever.
Anyways did you get this straightened out yet?

I've been too tied up with other things lately to deal with it, but I have the option of sending them back to Addicted2RC for a refund, or dealing directly with FLM and upgrading to the lowered extended TVPs and the flat skid plate.
I chose FLMs plates since the are not only twice the thickness of stock, but also beautiful in the machining process.
I'll check out Innovative and a couple of others before I do anything.

I've held the FLM in my hands and driven a buddy's Savage with them on. THe IRC are better quality, hands down. I do not offer "biased" opinions on things just because I own or owned them. The clear annodize from IRC holds up to abuse better than the black anno. does, but damn the black ones are sexy.
