I am now bored of my trx 2.5 engine,so i think its time 4 some real power,i will soon be adding two picco .21 engines two my maxx.I think this will give my little maxx a good kick up the arse!
so watch this space for some awsome pics to come.

are there any other bashers out there as power hungry as me?
feel free to add your views on this crazy mod, have fun bashin

:flamer:

Have fun destrying your truck unless you make some serious durable upgrades. You keep it stock with all that power and you'll have alot of little t-maxxs'.

Agreed, i would look into the following upgrades before doing that little project:

1. Supermaxx " or other brands" CVD's
2. RRP Aluminum Transmission case
3. Supermaxx, or RRP steel Transmission gears
4. Supermaxx Ultralite 7.5 diffs
5. Aluminum Knuckles for the wheels.

That will be a little pricey and personally , i wouldnt do it, I'm just trying to help. Good Luck man! Later

Yea, you'll only get more torque with two engines. Save yourself the agervation and just put one on it. It will still have alot of torque and you'll have just as much fun. Later man.

Heh heh itll be more than a lil pricy

haha agreed, so GRANT, are you gonna still do the double or go with just a single engine? because even if you do the single engine P2, your gonna have to get some CVDs at the least. The P2 has 2.38 hp.

I totally agree with the above Hopups minus Alluminum knuckles. I have buddies that run ALluminum knuckles and they do more harm then good. I run the Beefy RPM knuckles and they kick ass.

Properly shim your diffs and get Alluminum diff cups, Steel tranny gears and good cvd's. Your also gonna need a serious chasis to handle that kind of power.

Good luck dude....

I think grant might have run across the price and is still in the bathroom dealing with it...lol Just one of those motors are hard to handle. Maybe you should try just one 1st.

Hey all i know Grant hes my bashin bud and i would suggest that none of u listen to him as hes full of sh*t hes only just got his tmaxx its his first RC car (hes used to the ones you follow round on a wire) he hasnt even got used to the power of his TRX yet as every time he takes it out he has to phone the model shop and order new bits for it and believe ME he dont drive it hard (my nan drives harder)

SO GRANT I suggest you get used to the power of your trx2.5
before you trash it real good and have to buy a new truck

:preachin: hmmmmm tez,ur wright there this is my first rc truck, but don't forget wen uv ridden moto x hard for seven years 40mph is nothing,my truck thirst's for real power, who cares about money my truck has already had $2000 spent on it,if it breaks every time i take it out isnt that what bashin's all about.

my tmaxx will be running x2 p2 engines but all the other parts i will need for this mega hop up will be custom made,so watch this space to see this beast in the near future

heres a pic of the start design

lol... So because of a motor cross background your New Maxx is boring?? Well in that case I better drop a 350 V8 into mine because I have been racing rods since the day i turned 16. And my daily driver truck has 500+ horspower. lol My maxx has the stock motor (as for now) and I still get pleanty of enjoyment from it. I got it less than a month ago and have needed to replace parts because of my bad driving. I havnt even really did many jumps with it yet. Just running into this and that. but anyway, yeah Id like to see a twin P2'ed Maxx. So when ya get it, post some pics! Good luck with it, hope they drop in easy for ya.

good luck with that 500 + dollar truck, if you do decide to do it . i'll be eager for those pics! haha good luck again man

lol itll be more than that if I'm not mistaken i belive the s-maxx 7.5 diffs go for around 300 maybe less each

here we go again LOL yeah, there like selling buy it now on ebay for 220. but if he goes with my upgrades it will be around 900 -1100, now thats alot on a truck thats gonna wheelie a little to much haha

:alarm: yes but there's a big difference there.ur rod and daily drive always stay on concrete, where as when you riding a dirt bike, getting some sick air.you just know how much you want an your rc car performing the same tricks as a dirt bike with a few less trips to the hospital, lmao:thumbup:
