So I have a T Maxx 2.5 that has a 3.3 on it. I'm looking to turn it into a tru T Maxx 3.3. I have upgraded all 4 of the drive shafts. In the process of changing the center drive shafts. The transmission was converted to forward only I'm not sure if it was a 3.3 transmission. I'm going to get Rpm a arms, not sure if I'm going to get the true track ones. I'll be ordering a upgraded slipper clutch and brake. Not sure what else I need to make changes to to make sure I won't have any problems down the line.

The brake will require a 3.3 front driveshaft. The 3.3 shaft keys into the brake disk with two pins rather than a hex. I think the outputs are different sizes too. You'll need the extended chassis and diffs to have a 3.3 spec Maxx. The extended chassis makes a nice difference in handling. Less wheelies and not as touchy in flight. Honestly, you're time, money and hassle ahead by just finding a 3.3 roller. Swap your electronics and engine.

So basically getting new chassis turnbuckles and the other items I described and slowly build backup starting with chassis. I looked online I can get a chassis pretty cheap. can't really find a roller in my area even on Craigslist I think I might go piece by piece. I just have to change the arm mounts right? as far as the transmission goes I should be all set to keep that the way it is?

Your transmission is the .15/2.5 version. It will work with the extended chassis, but you can not install the 3.3 spec brake on the 2.5 transmission.

Eeek so what would you recommend I do I feel this brake is a little weak on stopping this the way it is

Just do the dual caliper & ink pen spring mod and use a decent strength servo and you can do a front flip if you apply the brake too hard.

Still new to the terms lol ill have to google that

I found this. Ill look into it more as I get closer to that point I'm gonna order my chassis tonight and go from there

Also if u look at my axle carriers and axles I belive they are a 2.5 spec I am hoping they will b fine? What do u think?

Definately get a better throttle servo, the one your using is junk.

The brake mods you linked to is for a Jato, not a maxx.

Do the brake mod Snook told you about, it will make your truck front flip if you adjust it too tight.

For it you need another brake pad set, the spring fron a retrackable pen.
Cut pen spring down to fit between the pads & add an extra pad to the outside pad for 2 pads on the outside.

Also put a new bit of fuel tube on the brake servo rod if the old one is mushy, or replace the fuel tube with a spring of your choice instead fuel tube.

Now will I need to get a different set of differentials for my conversion
I have the 3.3 center driveshafts and they don't fit on my 2.5 tranny... not sure if I shud keeep the 2.5 center driveshafts on it or get a 3.3 tranny

Paired with a good servo it will give you all the braking power you could ever need.

The center shaft mod is great too!

Another question when I look at 3.3 center driveshafts what are the two pins sticking out of the one side of the shaft is that for a 3.3 diff?

They are for the brake disc that the 4908/07 maxx & the Revo uses.

That is one of the ends you will remove to put your 5mm yoke on in it's place.
