Turn a tmaxx 2.5 to a 3.3

I understand that the transmission is expensive by itself but I checked in the for sale section of this forum and found two one is a complete and the other is the parts I need tranny chassis and a few other items

I can't decide what's the best route. It would be nice having an extra 3.3 lying around my rustler would scream with that in it. I still haven't heard back from the complete truck. I could buy brand new from ebay from the link from a previous post. Still trying to figure out which way to go. Still taking in input and suggestions. Haven't ordered or done anything yet.
