Hey guys... I finnally got a temp gun today and found my temps are getting close to 300. That was with my HS needle about 3 turns out so I backed off another1/2 turn and they were down around 250+/-, but when hard on it, (like full throttle at low speed doing doughnuts or whatever) it still gets up around 290-305 degrees...
It's pretty close to freezing outside so I'm wondering if the cold air makes it run a little extra lean or should the cold temps offset the dense air? I hate to richen it even more the damn thing is running so good lol..
The other thing I'm wondering is off the line if it's a little sluggish.. should it pull weelies on pavement from a dead stop? I've been leaning the LS needle 1/8th turn every trip out but it doesn't seem to be helping yet..
TIA
