Hello all, I'm trying to figure out the best way to tune the mid range needle on a carb any advice would be of help..

Don't, that is the best advice i can give you.
The MSN adj. controls the point where the HSN takes over fuel flow from the LSN.
Leave it at the factory setting.
If you feel you need to adjust it anyways, for every adjustment you make to the MSN you need to do the exact opposite to the LSN. This can be a nightmare.

Since a lot of these engines do NOT have a middle needle, but still have 3; LSN, HSN and idle adjust, you'll need to tell us what engine you're dealing with.
