It seems like everytime my car starts I have to tune it. After about 2 seconds after it starts it revs really high, I have to richen up to slow it down and then slowly lean it back out. Also I can't get the truck to stay still at idle, it always rolls. I tried richening the LSN and doesn't seem to help. When I richen the HSN it will stop the tires at idle, but then I get poor performance.

It sounds like you have an air leak going on. Tank, fuel lines, backplate. Check them all, and seal the carb and backplate with RTV red.

What engine and what pipe?

If you have adjust the idle and the car wants to keep rolling at idle, I would check the linkages to make sure there is binding then I would check the clutch assembly. You may have a weak spring that is allowing the shoes to engage causing a slight roll.

i think you should check the idle screw and pull it out a bit if its taking off. also make sure your carb is closed at idle. i think the gap should be around 1mm.

The LSN effects the idle and punch off the line, and can also effect the overall heat range if it's too lean. The HSN takes it from mid throttle to wide open. Having to mess with both, and not getting a satisfactory response still leads me back to an air leak. They can be very frustrating, but once you find it and correct it, you'll have your happy engine back.
