i was driving the revo today, and couldn't get it tuned right. it seemed to bog when there was a load on the tires. every time i hit a jump it would bog as soon as it hit the bottom. and i was trying to go through deep snow and it would bog. but it would run fine on the street, with and occasional wheelie when it got traction. the temp was probably around 25-30. what do i need to do to fix this prob.

It seems to be a LSN rather than the HSN, since it runs fine on the street. Lean the LSN in about 1/16th of a turn. If it improves, but still isn't as good as it should be, lean it again. Never go too far at once.

I don't know the 2.5r well, but it sounds too lean not rich. But rolex you are the traxx man! So i'm prob wayyy off

He says it's bogging. That usually means it's too rich. If it was cutting out, then most likely it would be too lean. I'll wait till he replies to see what changed.
I've dealt with these engines before, in temps around 35, and they can be stubborn to get right. Personally, I never run mine if it's under 50.
It has nothing to do with the engine, just that I hate the cold. lol

I'd agree with Rolex, I've run mine in some cold temps and snow. It just wasn't any fun. Engine can't get warm enough, especially when it starts to fill with snow inside the body in all the little pockets. I'd be suprised if your engine temp was above 130.

yeah, it is running fine on the street and not cutting out. but when there is a load on the tires it bogs. i'll give the lsn a try after awhile today. should i wrap something around the head also. like a sock or foil. its around 31 degrees today, so i guess nothing really changed as of yesterday. thanks for the info guys, and i'll get back to you and let you know how it worked out.
