I have a .26 Picco on a savage. Recently I can't seem to dial in the correct tune. Not sue what to do. While incresing the throttle engine dies. Tried 1/16 increments on HSN both directions. Also noticed that sometimes when the glow ignitor is removed engine stall out?? I know its a simple fix but newbies will always ask.

try changing the glow plug, and if that doesn't work check for air leaks.

I'm gonna concur with vbgagnon, and say that the glow plug is shot.
