I'm having some trouble tuning the P2 .21 for performance. I just can't find the right settings. I run it at first it does not want to throttle and then after it warms up the idle seems to increase and then drop after it sits at idle for a few. Any help would be great

this is way off the topic but are the p2 .21 Piccos a drop in motor??
What pipe are you running Mamerican?? Welcome to the boards also. These guys are great and will get ya straightened out.

Yes it was an easy swap. The P2 .21 comes with an engine mount that fits the original chassis. It is made to run with the original exhaust and breather. Thanks for the welcome. I just got my tmaxx a couple of months ago, I drive a concrete truck for a living and the plant i work at is located in a gravel pit. The ultimate place to run the 4X4 nitro truck.

Well as it turns out there was a defect in the motor. The front and rear crank bearings have air leaks and the crank has massive end play. I took it back to LHS and they could not believe the end play on the crank. They sent it back to Werks last week, so I'm waiting on them to fix it up or replace it. If I had my way about it I would like to have a new motor I did not spend $200 for a rebuilt motor!

is picco p2.21 defective?????

need 2 know if my p2.21 is defective i hear everyone alking about it please help!!!!

Are you having tunning problems. If so check your backplate if it has a rubber bushing around the starter shaft then return it. That was the biggest part of my problems.

The newer batch of P2 motors have a brass bushing in the backplate.
