ok, soi finally got the truck fixed up running like it should and then i ran into another snag. i have the truck on factory setting just to get all the old stuff out of it since it has sat for a while. therefore, after a couple tanks and it running solid i thought lets start tuning it. so i started off with the hsn and it was running good and i got it to the optimum point (green zone according to owners manual) and then it started acting like it was to lean so i richen i and nothing happens till i return to factory setting. all in all i can move it about 1/8 -1/6 of a turn and then it starts going all out of wack.....what should i do (running 25% odonnell fuel with traxxas med. plug)

Did you tune the lsn at all?

everything is at factory settings. i just came in from trying again today and its doin the same thing ill move it a 1/8 of a tuner leaner and run about 4 or five high speed passes and then it runs like it is to lean. then i have to richen it 1/4 turn befor it will run normal. its also being a pain in the arse to start its acting like its getting to little fuel even when i prime it. however once i get it running it will start 3 or 4 times then it wont start again for like 10-15 mins idk what is going on? I'm tuning it like it says in the manual and how it is explain in videos and on the forum. highspeed neddle first the low speed would it be the fuel or the glow plug??

Since it's been sitting for a while, I think you'll need to seal it. Sure sounds like an air leak. That makes it impossible to maintain a good tune.

that is definetly true I am waiting for new fuel tube ight now because of that problem!!! hey what is the best band of stuff to seel with???

Matt, I used a Loctite 5699 on my 3.3 and my .15pro. Worked like a champ but it is difficult to tear down if you should need to. It sticks really well and is resistant to anything I have found. Its the same stuff i used on the 7.3DIT diesel engines as they do not use an oil pan gasket but this stuff instead. Clean with parts cleaner (brake clean) and apply sparingly and let it set overnight.:2cents:
