so i can't figure out why this thing is bogging out when i try and go full throttle and has really minimal midrange power. its a os .18 cv-rx. anyone help me out? i tried going to factory settings on both needles, from what i found they are 2 out on the hsn and 1/2 in from flush on the lsn.

it still does it if i lean out the hsn. I'm in the process right now of sealing the motor. i try again to tune it tommorow when it seals and if i can't get it then I'm bringing it to my lhs.

If it bogs when you take off, you'll need to lean the LSN little by little till you get a good takeoff. Keep an eye on the temps.
Once you're getting a good launch, then you adjust the HSN for WOT.

Never make tuning changes to a cold engine. Make sure it's up to running temp, then make your adjustments.

it takes off fine, shifts into 2nd and thats when it starts having the problem. i prob should have mentioned that before, lol. i always make sure its up to temp before tuning. usually it runs around 240-250

Okay.
Lean the HSN about a quarter turn and see if it changes. If it improves, you'll know it was too rich. It's hard for me to know without actually hearing the engine.
If it gets worse after leaning it, return it by that same quarter turn and add another quarter to richen it.
Which ever setting works best, that's where you fine tune it with very small adjustments.

ok, thanks. ill try that tommorow when i put the engine back in the truck. I'm hoping the rain/snow holds off so i can mess with it.

Yea but here in jersey the weather has been messed up. Last week we had 70 degree weather and now it's 32 and about to snow lol.
