try to guess this one....

Guess one;

Ummm, put a locking device into the port of the sleeve, so the piston binds it, then used a HUGE pair of pliers to FORCE the crankshaft over. But, in order to get the leverage needed, you chucked it in a vice a little too tight.

Guess two;

pried like a mad mo against the crank case with a REALLY large screwdriver/chisel against the bottom of the sleeve.

put it in a vice then hit it with a hammer so its easier to get the sleeve and bearings out

Winner: Close enough for me.

the exact thing I did was put it in a vice and tighten it it down until it shattered into four pieces.

I had removed everything I could, I wanted the conrod and crankshaft out of the case.
With the motor shot, the sleeve absolutely refused to come out. So I stuck it in a vice to crack the crankcase to remove the good parts.

the key is, I was hitting the handle of the vice with a hammer to keep tightening it.

Pick your part.

Schitt.... Just noticed something. You're in England, I'm in the U.S.A.

I'll give you two options. I'll still send it to you, or I can sell it and donate the money to rcnt to get you an avater/signatature. ect.

but i guessed putting it in a vice then hammer then prying. :jk:

btw what are you going to do for a new engine

I've already bought a picco .26.

that motor has been toast for about a week

so you got your s-25 broken, then a picco toast, and didnt you get like a omega 26 this time? didnt your filter fall off your picco or something?

no.... I had the stock motor, then bought a new omega .26 (picco). It's still new. I only have like 3 tanks in it.

I "dissasembled" the s-25 last night.
