Ummm, put a locking device into the port of the sleeve, so the piston binds it, then used a HUGE pair of pliers to FORCE the crankshaft over. But, in order to get the leverage needed, you chucked it in a vice a little too tight.
Guess two;
pried like a mad mo against the crank case with a REALLY large screwdriver/chisel against the bottom of the sleeve.
the exact thing I did was put it in a vice and tighten it it down until it shattered into four pieces.
I had removed everything I could, I wanted the conrod and crankshaft out of the case.
With the motor shot, the sleeve absolutely refused to come out. So I stuck it in a vice to crack the crankcase to remove the good parts.
the key is, I was hitting the handle of the vice with a hammer to keep tightening it.
