trx 3.3 idle stop screw stock setting?

the manual said that the slide valve should be set so that it has a 0.7 - 1.0 mm gap, but that's just kinda unclear for me, i want to know by how many turns out from completely closed (idle set screw)

I use a paper clip to set my idle screw. It pretty much takes the guess work out of it.

That's a cool little trick. There is no turn count for the idol screw.. I usually adjust to the sound of the motor. If it's engaging the bell clutch then it's to high turn it down a little. Want it just before it rolls. That's about where I have mine...
