hi firstly I'm new here and new to cars so you will probably be seeing alot of me lol,
i have brought a hyper tt 4x4 truggy everything was fine with it until i hit a tree head on at speed now it starts fine ticks over fine but just wont move forward I'm assuming it has to be something like driveshaft or clutch but wouldnt know where to start so any help would be greatly appreciated
thanks rob p.s I've just noticed it wont move when not running should the wheels be free wheeling if so could this suggest the brakes on I'm really new to all this so my ideas probably are way off

The truck should be able to roll freely without the brakes applied. Find out where it is binding up.

It may be possilbe that when you hit that tree head on you may have had something jam the front diff. I would put both hands on the front wheels and turn them the same direction and see if it spins freely. if not then you know where your problem is. somewhere in the front end.
