RC Driving Style
hi I'm looking to buy a truggy kit soon. i have my eye on the hyper st pro, th 8ight-t, x2 crt, or the x1x crt, i like the new associated rc8t too. anyway heres my question. whats a engine that i could get thats a real powerhouse. i was looking at the osxz .28. i think i want a .28 cause thats what people and the adds say are best in truggies. I'm looking to spend between $250.00 and $350.00. hope i get some good info about my question. thanx

I put a Sirio .30 in my 8ight-t and it flies. I also have a OS .30VG, and it is fast too but not fully broken in yet so it will only get better. I was thinking of trying the OS xz.28 also as it seems to be more on par with my Sirio. I have a AxeRossi .21 in my Inferno and it blows everything away that I've ever had but it was well over the $400.00 mark.

I race an X2 CRT with a GRP tuned .28 and let me tell you power wise, both bottom and top end is unbelievable.
They sell for $359 or so at A Main but thats without, although the X2 comes with a great Hong Nor pipe. I will assume some of the other truggies come with tunes pipes as well but I know the X2 does...... Awesome....

You don't need a .28 in truggy. If you get a high powered .21 like the Jammin JPX .21 you're set. That, and a 086 pipe and a long header. You will need a starterbox too.
