50% on the bottom and 15K more rpm? got some video of this...

One of my Extreme mod picco's will shread tires, with ease.

actually yeah,on youtube.willhammer420.. mgt 8.0 pulling 7yr old.not much.just shows how much pulling power it has after the mod.

I don't see a need to tell Rick anything, I don't bash my competition. I do find it interesting how your trying to divert a potential sale from a vendor on this site, but it's all good. My question for you is if you really think your 8.0 (.50ci) is making 50% more bottom end pulling your kid and wagon, at say 70lbs on the high side, how much of an increase do you think this 5.9 (.36ci) makes being it pulled 50X+ the weight of your engine? 1250% more lol. To claim he's "the best in the business" is totally a bias suggestion if you haven't tried anyone else. I have customers who have tried both, and their observations are quite the opposite of yours ;)

Well, I have tried RB mods, AB mods, EB mods, and Extreme RC Mods.

I rebuilt my OS.18 back to stock when the p/s wore out. The EB mod was a joke. No different than stock.

I sold my RB modded Picco.26 here. Lots of pretty work done to the crank, but I would give it 10% Hp gain at most. RB mods gives a tad more midrange power thats it.

I still have my AB modded STS.30. Much more power added than the previous two, but no match against ERCM.

Now my favorite, I have 3, yes 3 ERCM Picco.28's. Power difference is incredible. Throws my savage around like a ragdoll. Top end is ridiculous. ERCM is the best hands down. Take it from somebody who knows.

what about the Ofna Picco .28T Factory Team With Turbo Plug Nitro Engine OFN51233 ? is this a good one???

Yes it is. If you plan on having it modded that's the best choice. No need to spend the extra cash on the JL or other more expensive versions because I surpass all the "stock" profiles with my own timing numbers.

What is your turnaround time for an extreme mod on the picco .28?

I apologize for diverting the thread, but in a nutshell what are the differences between the above mentioned engine(OFN51233) and the Picco P3?

turnaround time is about 1 week or less from when I get it. The only real difference is the head buttons, turbo and standard, and possibly pull start or bump. As for the internals they are probably the exact same in both. I say probably because I have seen parts from the more expensive versions in the less expensive versions, they are basically the same parts but some have more aggressive timing from factory.

dude, what? no one is tring to stop a sell.where do you get that? I find it odd that on this site and everyother site i am on you troll everything.as for the atitagain pm request, had nothing to do with you, nosey.(from my experience) who cares about the hpi 5.9 everyone knows they are junk!!8.0 modded right.will always have more torque than an 5.9.Why don't you mod one and post an unbias report?? Everyone has an opinion, and entited to it. I was simply stating mine. And Rick has been doing this since the 80"s.And if I do choose you and I am unhappy, you gonna do a refund??

And no one was or is bashing their competition. It is what he states on his website. And as for my video,it was just something i posted real quick. To clarifly he weighs 48lbs,cart 3lbs.The cart had 3 12inch concrete blocks, what ever they weigh. You can't really tell but it was up an incline.Like i said the video was nothing special. But i can make one.

Your point?? The 8.0 can do it too.:D

To be honest, I would never mod the 8.0 because if you actually change the timing on it, it would kick itself apart, like the other RTR engines do when pushed too hard. I wasn't trying to pick at you, but when someone claims the numbers you did, I'd like to see evidence, especially when they are as big of numbers you were posting. I may not have been modding since the 80's but what does that really prove? who else has designed their own tuned pipe that according to hundreds of customers, will out perform any conventional pipe compared to it, I must know just a little bit about how these engines work, I think. :)

never said you did'nt know what you were doing,I actually complimented you about your pics, very nice work according to your pics. And personally i would love to see your work.I don't know if you will remember, but awhile back you contacted me about two of your pipes. And I will be honest, the price scared me away. But i am building a losi 8ight.And i want the best engine.would a picco.21 evo3 be the best .21 or picco.28 be the best.28.I would have you do the extreme mod, coupled with one of your pipes.no bs,i am serious.let me know.

I take it you would be bashing instead of racing? If bashing is your plan then I would go with the picco .28, if you want to race competitively then I would highly recommend a .21 or the extra fuel pit stops will kill you. Thanks for the compliment on the work, but like I mentioned before, I only have a certain amount of time I can spend on an engine to be cost effective, so I spend my time making it powerful, not pretty like those pictures. As for the pipes, they may be expensive but they are made from scratch by hand, and my warranty/guarantee is second to none. Let me know what your plans are.
