Ok ..I'm kinda new to R/C ... what Makes the difference from a Monster Truck to a "Truggy" ?

well you are going to get mixed anwsers but I think a truggy is like a buggy but with bigger tires and longer arms. I always thought the center diff made it a truggy also but know the revo have a center diff that is no longer true. Also monter trucks have a gear box while truggys don't. On the track a turggy will beat a monter truck.

A truggy is just that..
Its a buggy that has been converted..With longer arms bigger tires, and a bigger mill...
Hence the name truggy 1/4 monster truck 3/4 buggy...

well eveyones right but

buggies - these are a popular choice for off-road racingas they are fast aglie and jump very well. and tough

truggies - this is the latest and most treandy truck that has been envolved from buggy owners converting thier buggys into trucks, or 'truggies'. manufactors (sp) have followed the demand and are now producing nitro truggies with engines as large as .28 or 4.6 cc. the truggy is a good choice if your keen to race

hope this helps just my 2 cents

another thing that makes it a truggy is its flat chassis allowing the engine to be mounted much longer giving it a lower center of gravity for better handling. these days i think that is the biggest advantage, as mention above the tires are the same, motors are pretty much in the same size other than a few.
