55305 Truckzilla Big Twin (Savage Dual 26 Conversion Kit)

Truckzilla Big Twin Kit includes:
• Dual .26 engines w/manifolds and
tuned pipes
• engine mounts
• special long chassis
• 7.7 inch tires (glued)
• heavy duty dog bones (4 pcs)
• large wheels
• long rear center dogbone
• complete clutch units with clutch bells

Equipment Needed:
Savage .21 truck with servos, radio and receiver

The Truckzilla Big Twin has two of everything! Two polished aluminum pipes, two headers, two .26 engines, two fuels cells and two carbs. The reason for this is when you keep the engines completely separate, it is easier to tune and start.

Big Twin comes standard with dual Jump-Starts to ensure easy starting and a blister free experience!

With an outside diameter of 7.7 inches, the inluded Fireball tires are by far the largest tires yet to come out of Hot Bodies! These tires make the overall size of the truck even longer and the overall ground clearance even higher!

The throttle linkage has been refined with newly angled push rods and a billet aluminum linkage mount to provide less play, less flex and ensure smooth throttle action to both slide carburetors.

A new billet aluminum motor mount was developed to accommodate the dual .26 engines! It is made of high strength aluminum and offers slotted holes to allow the use of different clutch bell gear sizes.

big_twin_chassis.jpg

The chassis is made of high strength billet aluminum and is a completely new design with a bright chrome finish and a sleek new look!

The dual pipes mount to the chassis with billet mounts and heavy duty coil spring wire. This allows the pipes to move around without coming loose.

Nitro 13 this is the first time I have seen this, you will need to quote your source towards the bottom of your story. Umm also who released this??? I am going to assume hot bodies but just can't be sure since it does not say it.

It is a "Truckzilla" conversion and the pics are linked from Hotbodiesonline.net, so it looks like Hot Bodies.

I wonder if two 26s is any better than the single 46? I'd think tuning two engines would just be more of a pain.

i edited it a little and it is from hotbodies.dont know price or when released.part number is 55305

nitro13,

If it go's anything like the original truckzilla I will wait and see how people do with it before I mess with it personally. The original truckzilla kit from what I have from numerous users was just week.

I like the wheels and tires, wonder if they are avaliable seperatly?

I may be missing something here, but where are the 2 fuel tanks?

I dunno, i'm pretty scarred after dealing with the warranty on my .46 truckzilla engine. I don't think i'll ever buy a major product from Hot Bodies ever again.

But that is pretty cool to have dual engines.

Whatever happened with your .46 Truckzilla?? I thought it was running great...tons of power?

I blew the first engine...it was my fault, but got it replaced under warranty. It took them two weeks to look at the engine and send me a new one. They kept giving me the run-around saying they'll look at it "tomorrow" everytime I called.

As for it running. Well it's not running. My pullstart broke, I couldn't figure out how to fix it so I still need a new one. My Savage has been sitting for a good 2.5 months right now without being ran.

I like the longer chassis and the larger tires...are there any arms available to make it wider too?

That twin wasp video is also in the rcnitrotalk video archive. The link has been on the hotbodies site for a few weeks now but i can never find prices on there site for anything. Perhaps i could email them and make an offer.

sick... i love those tires..... the flame like tread.. looks insane and original.

the flame tires are or will be sold separately because if you read rc driver magazine you always see them in there and it says really small "coming soon!"
