the only thing that i know of, is the i think "aftershock" system. i dont tink it is 3 shocks per wheel but it is something close

I have seen the aftershock set up. I would use it but I am running the full force sway bars. But it does look like a nice set up!

y would u need 3 shocks at each corner? i see people runnign there maxx with just 1 shock at each corner. 80WT shock oil and 1/8th scale OFNA buggy shock(white).

maxx trooper, i am with u for the most part. i dont get what the point of running 3 shocks would be? i mean it would probably help with a little jumping but besides that i dont think it would do anything,

and yes there are alot of guys that run 4 shocks total, they are the UE supershocks, they are made for racing for the most part, with 8 of them they are crazy

bryan

With a proper set up, you can beat the snot out of any Maxx just using a single shock per corner. Two shocks per corner gives a little extra, but three would be just plain overkill.

The overshock idea looks nifty, but gains very little. Sway bars are a better idea than the overshock.

I had full force sway bars on the rear. They wore out pretty fast. I only got maybe 3-4 hours of run time with them on before there was a huge amount of slop in them. The mounting holes actually "egged" out.

Hey,

WOuld be nice for a show truck but that's about it. I agree with Sky and think it would be serious OVERKILL for pure....Yippie look @ me and my truck with 12 shocks (LOL). It's possible that a three shock per tire setup could actually decrease overall performance. I've never seen a racer running more then 4 shocks but racing and bashing can have their fundmental differences.

Bryan - I bought a full set of 9 UE RacerX shocks...does that make me crazy bro?? HEHE

Not to deviate off subject. Sup with running sway bars on a T-maxx?? Just like on a real truck it increases on road performance and decreases off road articulation and overall performance. I could c the appeal for racing but not for general bashing and especially rock crawling.

Peace

Actually, the set up full force has doesn't restrict articulation. I used to keep both rear wheels on the ground at the same time to prevent unloading of diffs on hard cornering. It worked really well for what i used it for, but it wore out really fast.

30%nitroboy, lol, no ur not crazy(or atleast i think ur not:wtf: ) as i run 8 of them also
