i just got a trinity tru motor lathe from ebay,, but i dunno how to use it, it's dumb to lathe it with the endbell on, is there any special way to lather it??
 
Sounds like you purchased and old stock lathe. Got a pic of it and what it actually is?
 
ya, it says it's a stock motor lathe, but it also good for modified motors

Honestly, I'd list it back on Ebay and buy a mod lathe. Removing the brush hood to true your mod motor is nuts. If you're gonna use it, invest in a hood alignment tool also, you'll need it.
