I'm a first timer to nitro cars, but i have a fairly good hold on it. i was wondering how the traxxas .15 compares to the associated .15 they are both broken in and used, the associated i was wondering about is the stocker from the RC10GT and the traxxas i'm not sure how to identify. the engines are both for an RC10DS. I was just wondering how the two compare to each other. any info is greatly appreciated. thanks guys

bkunar - if the traxxas engine is the TRX-15, then it is no comparision. The AE mill will win hands down. I have actually seen the AE .12 in a RTR NTC3 outrun a CV-R. Not only that, but AE is reknown for power and reliability

okay guys, thanks for the advice. i have been hearing the same thing from my friends. i probably will go with the new engine.

go with the AE mill, the traxxas are alright, but the AE will blow it away.
